We are hosting a number of online events during the week. Further details of all events will be posted online throughout the week.
Our online events include the Lighthouse Loop Run that will be running all week – we are encouraging you to run the route during the week and send us your time. Winners to be announced on Sunday 16th August. See the separate event listing for full details.
Build a boat at home 'Buoyancy Challenge' – using a cereal box, matchsticks and sticky tape, make a boat that must float an egg! Send us your picture or video as evidence and the best boat will be judged on Sunday 16th August. There will be bonus points for creativity! See the separate event listing for full details.
Wednesday 12th August, 8pm - Online Quiz, hosted by volunteer lifeboat crew member Matt Steeden.
Saturday 15th August, 7.30pm – Galaxy Thief are performing a special gig for us online and we will be showing footage from our rescues and training.
Sunday 16th August, 6.30pm - Online Lifeboat Service, we won't all be on the Pier this year but we hope you will join us online to give thanks.
We will also be setting up Q&A session with some of the lifeboat crew and a children's story time. Keep an eye on our social media for more details.
Our aim is to raise awareness about Swanage RNLI, give you and insight to what we have been up to this year and hopefully raise some money for our station.
