'Lifeboatique' at Swanage Lifeboat Week

One of the stalls at this Sunday's Lifeboat Fair in Prince Albert Gardens is 'Lifeboutique'.

The stall is run by Becky King and Kim Notley, our coxswain's daughters-in-law, and will be filled with homemade wares, either crafted by the girls themselves or generously donated by others - they'll even be exclusively selling jam made by the RNLI's Head of Fleet Operations!

As well as a stall-full of handmade and vintage goods, Becky and Kim will also be teaching finger knitting. For £1, children (and adults) can choose a ball of wool and learn how to make a necklace, bracelet, bandanna, tail or belt to take home.

The wool has been very kindly donated by the Swanage Wool & Craft Shop.

You can find out more about the girls' crafts here at Becky's blog, Dorothy Does.
